biography of Danny McLeod, Always a Leader.

The Lives of Major Danny McLeod, are now available.

The biography traces Danny's life from his beginnings in Medicine Hat, through WW ll, including his time at Sandhurst, UK, during officer training, and in combat, and through his peacetime service with the Calgary Tanks and Lord Strathcona's Horse (LDSH) in Calgary.Other chapters deal with his experiences in Indochina in the 1950's, Royal Military College in the 1960's, the National Hockey League in the 1970's, and Senior A hockey in general. It closes with his life as a car salesman extraordinaire through to the present, highlighting his work on behalf of the South Alberta Regiment, and numerous veterans issues, including his experience with battlefield tours.

The book is a soft cover with 396 pages including photos and sells for $30.00 plus $1.50 GST plus postage. Copies may be obtained from the author Ted Nurse. He can be reached by:
